  Real shame. First time there and the place looks amazing so we had our hopes up! The prices aren't too bad if the food had been up to scratch! (£12.50 for posh fish & chips, £10.50 for a posh burger, £6 desserts etc) But the food quality is so poor we won't go again. Our food looked promising with excellent presentation so we were expecting a lot for the prices paid. We were very disappointed as the fish and burgers we had were very dry and overcooked and the chips were bitter. The food was completely tasteless. We did complain at the time and a 20 something yr old manager offered us free desserts. When we got them, they were shop bought and tasteless. We were hoping this might be somewhere we could come as a treat for a steak night but we've been so put off we certainly won't eat there again. Also, we had to wait 1 1/2 hours for any food to arrive even though we got there before the rush on a Saturday. Staff are pleasant enough and as one staff member put it customer service is our priority...shame the food isn't! £35.47 for 2 adult meals, a kids meal, a beer, 2 lemonades and free desserts.

  Great food, tiny portions, large prices. Gorgeous building with beautiful scenery and kind staff. Vegetarian options. Will work to satisfy vegans as well but there are no vegan options on the menu. Best chips I've ever had. Nice Italian food as well. Just get a second mortgage before you come.
